Dr. Victoria Boyd
Dr. Victoria Boyd, President and Founder of The PhilantrepreneurTM Foundation (TPF), has been a driving force in the education and non-profit sectors throughout her career. Her 28 years as an educator afforded her the opportunity to develop extraordinary opportunities for her high school students allowing them to travel throughout the US and around the globe performing in such places as Edinburg Scotland, Aurillac France, Dallas, LA, Miami and D.C. to name just a few. To do this she developed a rare set of skills combining her teaching expertise with event management and logistics.
These skills became useful when she accepted the position of Arts/Education Consultant and state liaison for Wayne RESA, serving 36 school districts and 68 charter schools, plus representing Wayne County on the state level. In this position she develop professional training, educational broadcast, wrote teacher certification standards, and implemented statewide initiatives which included workshops, conferences and events to serve the community. She created the Wayne RESA Community & Student Art Fair and the SE Michigan Cultural Collaborative, an initiative that brought together the leading 15 arts institutions in SE Michigan to develop collaborative opportunities.
Adding to her event management skills she served on the Executive Planning Committee of the Michigan Youth Arts Festival, an annual event which gathered over 1,000 youth to celebrate and recognize their arts achievements. She has served as President, Executive Director, Convention Manager and Grants Chair for numerous organizations.
For all of this work she was recognized and awarded ‘National Educator of the Year’ by the National Dance Association, ‘Educator of the Year’ by Michigan Chapter and Midwest District of the American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the ‘Golden Apple Award’ by Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA) and recognized in Who’s Who in America’s Teachers, Wayne State University’s Arts Achievement Award and ArtServe Michigan’s Advocate of the Year. An award that she is most proud of and honored to receive was the ‘Fulbright Memorial Teacher Award’ where she was recognized and given an opportunity to study the educational system in Japan for an extended period.
After moving to the Las Vegas valley Dr. Boyd’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged, her passion for learning and extensive experience in management all came together to launch The PhilantrepreneurTM Foundation (TPF). Under TPF’s umbrella she developed and executed the Impact Learning Conference, Nonprofit Awareness Day, TPF Community Panel Discussion plus other ongoing training. She tapped into her health background and conducts training and events for the CBD industry and is host of CBD Talks an internet based show.
Dr. Boyd has authored three books, ‘The Wealthy Teacher: Answering the Question, What's next?’; ‘WOW ‘Em: Webinar Secrets from the Wealthy Teacher’ and Board Bound Leadership: The Four Essentials. Since being in Nevada her impact continues to be recognized with honors such as 2014 Nevada Distinguished Men and Women; 2015 NAWBO – Women of Distinction; 2015 LVBMN Entrepreneur Achievement Award, and 2016 MyVegas Magazine recognition as a Top 100 Most Influential Women.
Dr. Boyd possesses a Bachelor of Science/Health and Physical Education, Master of Education/Dance History and Production, Education Specialist/Administration and Leadership, and Doctor of Education/Organizational Development.
